Rolex CELLINI Date Watch

In the three Rolex Cellini dress watches of 2014, it can be said that the Rolex Cellini Date model may be the most beautiful. Of course, the Rolex Cellini time (which only means time) is clean and easy to pick, and the Cellini Dual Time offers a good travel watch for those who like to wear a tuxedo in their luggage, but the Cellini Date mixes the new Rolex guillotine Engraved dial aesthetic, with the usefulness of date indicator.

595/5000 In fact, with three distinct Rolex Cellini models, each coming in different case materials and dial colors, Rolex has released a total of 12 new Cellini models for 2014.

I do not remember the last time the Rolex displayed the date on the dial pad and the disc in the window. In fact, Rolex invented the concept of Datejust’s original date window watch. If you prefer formal dress to be a bit more complicated and you know the date is still useful to you, then the Rolex Chebyni date is a very attractive product. Date dialing further helps to increase the character, otherwise it will be just a three-faced face. This extra information turns this dial into a deeper “watch area,” making it suitable for those who wish to obtain the date of Rolex Celeini, rather than their only timepiece, but as a supplement to many high-quality watches. .

Rolex’s new 39 mm wide Cellini case combines elements of the classic watch line with the popular Oyster case. In the case of 50 meters waterproof, Cellini is not an oyster, but its size is smaller. However, it carries a very thin version of the oyster ripple bezel, which adds another feeling to Rolex’s Rolex DNA.

The base Cellini Time watch has a more simple lacquered dial. Each of the dial colors is available with either the 18k white or Everose gold (a special 18k rose gold alloy that Rolex makes) case, which adds a welcome variety and level of consumer choice.

At 39 mm wide, I think the Cellini case combines elegance and modernity in a satisfying manner, neither too big nor too small. Unlike the wider lugs on most Oyster Professional watches (such as Submariner), the lugs on the Cellini case are more sleek, making the wrist more compact. It feels like a few years ago, almost all Rolex watches come from metal bracelets. Now, with works like Rolex Cereni, we realize that we are more focused on adding shoulder straps to the Rolex wear experience.

Having said that, I can’t help but wonder if the bracelet might look like it was designed for the new Cellini series. However, the shoulder strap is very beautiful, with a Rolex signature (and crown), made of black or brown crocodile.

The off-center date dial offers a new look for the brand, and adds a new way to tell the date even if it isn’t strictly speaking as convenient as a digital date window.

Just like day/day (unlike Datejust), the Rolex Cellini series will be exclusively available in precious metals. These are not now jeweled watches, but one of the thinnest configurations of Rolex watches. Despite this, they still have a self-made Rolex automatic mechanical movement.
